The purpose of the Staff Senate is to promote continued improvement of higher education at 51ÉçÇø and in the state of Montana and to promote stability and professional growth of the staff of 51ÉçÇø. The Staff Senate is a governance organization. The Staff Senate promotes service to students by improving morale and working conditions of the staff at 51ÉçÇø. The Staff Senate may pursue other goals and activities that are consistent with its overall purpose. As an advisory group to the Chancellor, the Staff Senate recommends policies or changes to policies or practices for consideration by the Chancellor and improves communications by relating back to staff.
